Meditation #1

Breath is all, and bright yet

Breath is all I am

When industry stops.

Breath and soul

This is me.

All mind to serve

But slow please, goodly thoughts

Let me pause and center be.

Breath is all

And bright yet.

For when breath is gone

Industry is nought, thought not,

Life end.

Breath is all,

Breath and soul,

This is me.

Well thank you! Glad you understand what I was getting at. Yup, a bit abstract but this is probably because i wanted to keep the poem quite simple, to mirror the action of breathing – simple yet very grounding.
